U-Pick Sunflowers on the farm

Come and spend your Friday morning in Wassaic with us this summer - grab your flowers and then head over to Vitsky Bakery for Pastries and a coffee.
We will have a variety of bouquets ready to bring joy to your weekend tables!
Natural Dye Workshop with Cottage Courses
Join us for a one-day natural dyeing workshop featuring bundle dyeing with fresh flowers, leaves, and botanicals harvested from the Farm. Participants will learn how to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind patterns on fabric using natural plant dyes, including the rich blues of fresh indigo leaves.

Fire Cider Making with Cottage Courses
Join us for a hands-on workshop making fire cider, a traditional herbal tonic infused with roots, herbs, fruits, and spices in apple cider vinegar. Using ingredients grown on the Farm in Amenia, New York, participants will learn about the history of fire cider, seasonal herbal traditions, and the unique flavors and properties of plants cultivated on the farm.

We will provide the snips and a jar for water. Just check in at the farm store when you arrive!

Holiday Door Swag Workshop
Join Alisa inside the Maitri Farm Greenhouse for a hands-on holiday door swag workshop! As Alisa shares her tips and techniques, you'll choose from an assortment of seasonal ingredients, including eucalyptus, fresh pine, juniper branches, fir, cedar, and magnolia leaves, along with accessories like silk ribbons, bells, and feathers, to create your own on-of-a-kind door swag.
Table-top Wreath Workshop
Join Alisa from Maitri Farm for a nature-inspired table-top wreath workshop. Flex your creativity and follow along as Alisa guides participants through her techniques, sharing tips and tricks to creating a beautiful centerpiece. Seasonal foliage will be provided such as ferns, pepper berries, Ilex berries, eucalyptus, magnolia and more. Participants should bring their own 12" taper candles.
